Access to Bankruptcy Court held its 2021 Hon. Marci B. McIvor Annual Fundraiser on September 29, 2021 at Bea’s Detroit in Eastern Market. The event, which was held on the open air rooftop of the venue, was attended by approximately 100 members of the local bankruptcy bench and bar. The fundraiser raised almost $35,000 for ABC. Such funds will be used to provide experienced bankruptcy counsel, free of charge, to low income individuals who reside in the Eastern District of Michigan and who are in need of the fresh start that bankruptcy can provide.

In addition to recognizing our founder, the Hon. Marci B. McIvor (Bankr. E.D. Mich. – Retired), for her continuing support of the organization, ABC honored the Hon. Gerald E. Rosen (E.D. Mich. – Retired) and the Hon. Steven W. Rhodes (Bankr. E.D. Mich. – Retired) for their significant contribution to ABC’s fundraising campaign in 2020. Pictures from the event are below.
